Wayne was born in 1959 in Sydney, NSW. He corrected this by moving to Brisbane, Queensland as soon as he could, where he enjoys life with his lovely wife Lorraine and their two cavoodles, Bundy and Chardy.

Technically, Wayne gained knowledge and qualifications on both Novell Netware and Microsoft Operating Systems during a 13 year stint in the Australian Army. Leaving the Army in 1995 as a Certified Novell Instructor, he quickly attained Microsoft Certified Trainer in 1996 and then added CCSI (Certified Checkpoint Security Instructor) in 1997.

Wayne currently holds the position of Senior Technical Instructor with DDLS, working in the Brisbane office.

He is responsible for the delivery of a variety Microsoft courses while specialising in Windows Server/Client and System Center, particularly System Center Configuration Manager.

Wayne has also been involved in SOE (Standard Operating Environment) development and implementation with a number of clients over the years at Dimension Data, showing a very good understanding of different clients needs in training, creating customised courses to reflect those needs. Clients include the Department of Defence, Queensland Health, Queensland Rail and Suncorp. He is part of the team that enabled DDLS to win the 2016 Microsoft Partner of the Year (Learning Award).

Wayne was awarded the DDLS Instructor of the Year in 2001 and has proctored and presented for Microsoft at various TechEd, Ignite, and TechReady conferences around the world. He was invited by Microsoft to attend the “Microsoft Certified Masters – Active Directory” Beta course held on the Redmond Campus (Microsoft HQ) in July 2008.

Wayne has recently been re-appointed as an MCT Regional Lead – Australia for the fourth time, one of only five countrywide.

On Jan 1st, 2014, Wayne was awarded Microsoft’s MVP (Most Valuable Professional) Award in the area of Windows Expert / IT Pro, and has been awarded again, as an MVP, in January 2015 and continues to be an MVP in 2016.
